Wishing you a warm welcome to Buckland Dinham

Here is some useful information to help you settle in quickly and find out what’s going on!

Village website

Our welcome page is www.bucklanddinham.org/welcome.  Other pages cover activities, events, clubs, groups, parish council, practicalities and more – plus links to Facebook and WhatsApp groups.

5Alive! Magazine and Notice Boards

  • This free monthly magazine is distributed free to all homes, providing village and church news.
  • There are notice boards on the main road: starting from the top, they are near the pub, at the bus shelter, by the Village Hall and on the corner of Lower Street.

Community and Activities

  • We have a busy village hall that hosts many events, and an active church community.  The village website has links on the village hall and church, plus information on many other local activities and groups.
  • The Bell Inn is our friendly pub serving real ales and food, and hosting quiz nights, live music and special events. It’s open most nights of the week, see bellinnatbuckland.co.uk
  • The playing field and play park are at the top of the village behind Rogers Close.

Technology getting in the way?

If you are having trouble accessing the website, do ask your neighbours what’s going on.  Or ask at the pub (Wed to Sun), or the Church coffee morning (third Sat of every month) - friendly people and wonderful cakes!

We look forward to meeting you around the village

Thank you Linda for our lovely Header photo!
